As a Ground Maintenance Technician in a stationary role, you will be part of the Ground Support Equipment team, specializing in completing repairs and preventive maintenance on motors, controls, PLCs, pneumatic and conveyor systems, and machine shop equipment.

• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices and using precision measuring tools.
• Determine dimensional changes in parts with rulers, calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Ensure proper functioning of mechanical, electro‑mechanical, and electronic equipment through troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.
• Prepare maintenance reports by collecting and analyzing data.

External applicants receive a $5,000 sign‑on bonus, paid in two instalments ($2,500 after 90 days and $2,500 after 180 days). The starting hourly rate is $36.22 with potential increases within 6 months based on certification, shift, and skill differentials.

Eligible Delta employees based in New York City may be reimbursed up to $250 per month for transportation expenses.
