Reporting to the Custodial Supervisor, the Cleaner II provides cleaning and portering services throughout the Lincoln Center complex.

This position requires work hours Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am.

• Provides cleaning and portering services in both academic & residential University buildings.
• Removes recyclables and trash in accordance with University procedures.
• Delivers mail in the buildings.
• Rearranges furniture and performs small move jobs when requested.
• Keeps building entrances and perimeters free of leaves, garbage, etc. as the need arises.
• Must sign in and out for all keys.
• Performs other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of six (6) months to one year of cleaning experience, or related experience.

• Must be able to read English and follow written instructions.
• Knowledge of general cleaning techniques and preventative maintenance, including standard use of power washers, stand-up vacuums & backpack vacuums.
• Knowledge of effective and safe usage of all floor machines and handheld tools.

Minimum Biweekly Salary for Internal Applicants with 3 or more years of service: $2,313.44

Maximum Biweekly Salary for Internal Applicants with 3 or more years of service: $2,313.44

Minimum Biweekly Salary for New Employees: $1,850.40
