The WorkGlobal Supply Chain Operations Manager will lead and optimize Supply Planning processes across internal and external networks, ensuring inventory accuracy, material availability, and seamless execution of supply chain operations. The Manager will collaborate with suppliers, third-party manufacturers (TPMs), and internal stakeholders to balance service levels, working capital, and operational efficiency. The role requires continuous improvement initiatives, digital transformation, and compliance with supply chain standards, while mentoring teams to achieve excellence.
- Supply Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage short- to mid-term supply plans across TPMs and internal manufacturing sites, ensuring feasibility based on capacity, material availability, and demand requirements.
- Execute all aspects of Purchase Order (PO) management: creation, confirmation, expedite/de-expedite, cancellation, and lifecycle tracking.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory discrepancies between vendor locations and SAP systems, ensuring 98% inventory accuracy across external partners.
- Manage redeployment of materials globally across sites and distribution centers to minimize excess and obsolescence.
- Coordinate destruction processes (DAVs), scrapping, and blocked stock disposition in compliance with company policies.
- Track and resolve quality notifications, deviations, and material expiration issues.
- Supplier & Third-Party Manufacturing (TPM) Management
- Serve as the key point of contact for supplier relationship management, conducting regular reviews of supplier performance and production alignment with company requirements.
- Collaborate with TPMs to secure supply commitments, monitor capacity constraints, and escalate unresolved issues.
- Publish build forecasts and manage TPM scorecards to evaluate performance against commitments.
- Inventory Optimization & Reporting
- Monitor inventory levels, freshness, and blocked stock across external partners, ensuring timely and accurate reporting into IBP and FP&A functions.
- Create and maintain dashboards/reports on supplier performance, inventory turnover, scrap rates, and excess stock.
- Conduct cycle counts and year-end stock counts at vendor sites, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Continuous Improvement & Digital Transformation
- Lead process simplification and improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to enhance planning efficiency and reduce forecast errors.
- Drive adoption of automation tools (SAP, Ariba, UiPath, Alteryx) and analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud) for reporting and exception management.
- Implement best practices in supply planning, inventory control, and master data governance.
Here's what you need:
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in supply chain management.
- A minimum of 5 years focused on Supply Planning in a Supply Chain role.
- A minimum of 3 years experience with materials management, fulfillment, or master data management.
- Experience with in the Beauty Supply Chain industry is highly preferred.
- Deep expertise in supply planning, inventory optimization, and capacity planning across global networks.
- Experience with analytics and scenario modeling tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud).
- Experience leading and implementing S&OP/IBP processes at a global scale.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain network design, risk management, and digital transformation.
- Experience with automation tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere) and integration of external data sources for supply planning.
- Team development and leadership in a global, matrixed environment.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to build, manage, and foster a high-performing, team-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; ability to interpret complex data and translate into actionable insights.
Compensation varies based on location and other factors;
Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired at or below the stated level.
