Supply Chain Associate (Entry Level – Demand Planning Focus)
Location: New York City, NY
Pay Rate: $25.51/hour
Duration: 12-month contract
We are seeking an entry-level Supply Chain Associate to support a demand planning–aligned supply chain team in New York City. This paid 12-month opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in supply chain, analytics, and operations within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
In this role, you will support key supply chain projects or the functions that enable them, gaining hands‑on experience in forecasting, planning, reporting, and systems. You’ll collaborate cross‑functionally and contribute to meaningful business outcomes while developing critical supply chain skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport demand planning and supply chain initiatives and projects
Assist with inventory management, forecasting, and planning activities
Support order management, credit management, and assembly coordination
Build, refresh, and maintain operational and analytical reports
Analyze data from multiple supply chain systems and ensure accuracy
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support project execution
Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization efforts
Work hands‑on within systems and datasets to identify insights and opportunities
Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (recent graduates welcome)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Willingness to commute as needed within New York City and surrounding areas (NY/NJ)
Preferred
Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field
Demand planning or supply chain–focused background
Experience building, refreshing, or improving reports
Power BI or other data visualization/reporting tools
Prior supply chain or operations experience (internships, co‑ops, or up to ~3 years experience considered)
Comfortable digging into systems and working with large datasets
