Business Immigration Attorney — EB-1 / O-1 / NIW Focus
New York City (In-Office/Hybrid)
A Manhattan immigration boutique is seeking an attorney whose strength is writing and case strategy across employment-based petitions.
This is not a removal defense, asylum, or family-based role.
This is a position for an attorney who personally drafts EB-1, O-1, NIW, and PERM petitions and enjoys the legal analysis behind complex eligibility issues.
The RoleYou will:
- Draft EB-1, O-1, NIW, and PERM petitions from scratch
- Write legal arguments and RFE/NOID responses yourself
- Analyze complex fact patterns and develop petition strategy
- Work directly with partners in a writing-driven, boutique environment
- Manage matters end-to-end with minimal delegation
This is a low-volume, high-analysis practice. Writing quality matters more than case count.
Ideal Background- 3–8 years of employment-based immigration experience
- Direct authorship of EB-1, O-1, NIW, and PERM filings
- Comfortable drafting complex legal arguments independently
- New York Bar admission
- Boutique practice where writing and judgment drive the work
- Emphasis on legal analysis, not production quotas
- Long-term growth within a respected immigration platform
Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.
Salary range expected to fall within $95,000–$175,000
, depending on background and level.
Comprehensive benefits and a professional, stable work environment consistent with a boutique Manhattan law practice.
If your strength is writing EB-1 / O-1 / NIW petitions, this role is worth a conversation.
If your background is primarily removal defense or family-based immigration, this role will not be a fit.
