Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Private Client Services Practice Group in New York City
. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney to work with high-net-worth individuals on complex trust and estate matters while developing expertise in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- New York Bar Admission or the ability to waive in.
- LL.M. and
strong tax background required
. - 2–4 years of substantive law firm experience in trust and estates law.
- Demonstrated drafting and estate administration
skills
, including experience with complex wills and trusts
. - Proficiency in preparing client presentations
, tax calculations and analysis
, and administering estates from probate through closing
. - Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage client contact.
- Supervisory skills to direct paralegals in a collaborative environment.
- Advise high-net-worth clients on trust and estate matters, including estate planning, tax strategies, and administration.
- Draft complex wills and trusts tailored to client needs.
- Manage the administration of estates from probate through final closing, ensuring all tax filings and legal requirements are met.
- Prepare client presentations and conduct tax calculations and analyses.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to deliver superior client service.

The firm offers a competitive compensation package
