mid sized law firm with a strong Northeast presence is seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel to join its expanding Real Estate practice
. This opportunity is available in Boston, Connecticut, or New York
, and offers sophisticated transactional work within a collaborative, well-resourced team.
The ideal candidate will have 4–12 years of experience advising companies, developers, investors, and related entities on complex commercial real estate matters. The practice has a particular emphasis on commercial leasing, franchise-related real estate issues, and corporate real estate transactions
.
- Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial lease agreements
- Advise on acquisitions, dispositions, development, and financing of commercial properties
- Represent franchisees in connection with franchise agreements, renewals, and transfers
- Assist with asset acquisitions and related corporate matters tied to real estate transactions
- Work directly with clients while collaborating with senior attorneys on complex deals
- 5–10 years of transactional real estate experience
- Significant experience negotiating and drafting commercial leases (required)
- Prior work involving franchisee representation or franchise agreements (strongly preferred)
- Excellent academic background and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage matters independently with minimal supervision

The target base salary range for New York is $185,000–$325,000 + Bonus
