Overview
Trueline's client, a fast-paced personal injury law firm known for its rigorous litigation strategies and results-driven team culture, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their Forest Hills, Queens office full-time. This is a dynamic opportunity for a process-oriented, tech-savvy paralegal who thrives on owning their workflow and making a direct impact on case outcomes.
Responsibilities- Support attorneys on a full caseload of plaintiff-side personal injury matters from intake through trial
- Draft and manage medical summaries, discovery documents, and settlement materials
- Track case progress and deadlines in Filevine and Lead Docket
- Schedule and coordinate depositions, IMEs, mediations, and court appearances
- Interface with clients, providers, and insurance carriers to gather and organize critical case information
- Anticipate workflow challenges and proactively improve processes and case efficiency
- Prepare trial-ready files and ensure ongoing documentation quality
- 5 to 8 years of experience in plaintiff-side personal injury law
- Strong proficiency with Filevine; experience with Lead Docket preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a high caseload with minimal oversight
- Clear, professional communication skills with clients and legal professionals
- High attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with trial preparation and support
- Experience using AI-driven legal tech or document automation tools
- A proactive approach to streamlining workflows and improving case management systems
- Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $65,000 to $95,000 annually
