Law​/Legal Associate, Legal Counsel

The ideal candidate will be tech savvy, and will bring 2-3 years of litigation experience, with a background in music copyright law. Your job will focus on enforcing major and indie record label’s and publisher’s copyrights. A familiarity with master use and synchronization licensing, and practical knowledge of the music and technology industries is strongly preferred. Copyright infringement litigation experience is a plus.

• Client management skills - Ability to develop a deep understanding of each client's specific needs and objectives to provide tailored legal advice and strategies
• Excellent writing ability
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Mastery of Excel and general aptitude for technology
• Resourceful and able to think practically and be solution-oriented
• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted to the New York State Bar and in good standing

In accordance with New York City’s Wage Transparency Law, the expected salary range for this New York City position is between $115,000 and $130,000.

Hybrid work schedule is as follows:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in our office, located in Flatiron. Option to work remotely or in office on Mondays and Fridays.
