Key Responsibilities:

• Lead automobile liability and general liability defense matters from pleadings through trial.
• Conduct and defend depositions, draft and argue substantive motions, and oversee all stages of discovery.
• Handle insurance coverage issues, including coverage opinions and declaratory judgment actions.
• Collaborate with partners, adjusters, and experts to drive litigation strategy and efficient resolution.

Ideal Candidate:

• 6–10+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
• Strong background in automobile defense (required)
• Experience with insurance coverage matters or willingness to expand into coverage work
• Strong deposition, motion practice, negotiation, and courtroom skills
• NY Bar required
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable running files independently in a fast‑moving boutique environment
