Top firm seeks a senior associate to join its dynamic Financial Services Practice. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in project finance, including "plain vanilla" project financings, tax equity bridge loans, back leverage financings, and pre-NTP financings. Experience on both lender- and borrower-side is preferred. Extensive experience drafting and negotiating credit facilities, letters of credit, and performance and payments bonds is required.
The candidate should be familiar with, and comfortable conducting bankability analysis of project documents, and negotiating engineering, procurement, and construction contracts, balance of plant agreements, supply agreements (e.g., transformer, module, BESS, turbine, and inverter supply agreements), and offtake and tolling agreements. The candidate should be capable of independently negotiating and managing security documents (e.g., security agreements, pledge agreements, financing statements, control agreements), NY-law legal opinions, direct agreements/consents to collateral assignments, and reliance letters.
Ability to independently run due diligence of project documents is essential.
Excellent academic credentials are required, with large regional, national, or international law firm experience preferred. The firm offers a collegial atmosphere and provides professionals with a large platform and opportunities for growth and advancement.

Job Requirements:- 4 to 6 years of experience in project finance (lender or borrower side).
- Extensive experience drafting PF Credit Agreements, New York law-governed Security Documents, Collateral Assignments, Legal Opinions, and Project Documents (e.g., EPC Contracts, Offtake Agreements, Supply Agreements, and Due Diligence Reports).

- Strong academic credentials.
* The position may be filled in New York, Miami, Dallas, Houston, Austin, or Washington, DC. Candidates must reside and be licensed or be prepared to become licensed to practice law in one of these jurisdictions. In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the pay range for this position in New York, NYC, Colorado, and California is $310,000 - $390,000 max/year.
