Associate Attorney

Our firm is a boutique, high volume, litigation law firm located centrally in midtown Manhattan. We are looking for someone to join our team of advocates who secure justice for victims of nursing home neglect, medical malpractice, general neglect, and healthcare related personal injury. With an open-door policy for our attorneys, paralegals, and staff, we place a great deal of effort into training, supporting, and mentoring you, so that you can grow in your talents.

We are seeking an associate attorney candidate who has the following qualifications:

• Admitted to practice in New York;
• 1-3+ years of experience (at least a 2024 graduate, admitted to the bar as of December 2024 or earlier);
• Personal injury experience and client management skills are pluses; excellent writing, organization, and independent problem solving skills are musts.

In this role, you will handle:

• Handling all facets of a case from intake through settlement, including in Surrogate’s Court and Supreme Court
• Written work including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents;
• Defending and taking depositions, along with various types of virtual and in-person court appearances;
• Communicating and interacting extensively with clients;
• Assisting with settlement and trial related responsibilities;
• Working collaboratively with other associates and partners on significant legal matters
