OverviewOur client, a law firm based in Manhattan, is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join their busy NYC legal team. This role offers exposure to a wide range of responsibilities supporting attorneys on litigation and casework. Ideal for someone with 2–4 years of experience (litigation preferred, but open to strong candidates without). This is a great opportunity for a motivated Paralegal to grow with a supportive legal team while gaining hands-on case experience!
DetailsRole: Paralegal – Temp-to-Perm
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Base pay range: $30.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Compensation: $30–$35/hour while contract and $75K–$85K upon conversion
Schedule: Standard 9–5, flexible hours
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and organize legal documents (contracts, pleadings, discovery, correspondence)
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings
- Manage case files and ensure organized documentation
- Support case prep: depositions, filings, and deadlines
- Assist with trial prep including exhibits and witness coordination
- Liaise with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Provide administrative support including billing, calendaring, and timekeeping
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (Paralegal Certificate preferred)
- 2–4 years of paralegal experience (litigation a plus)
- Knowledge of legal terminology, court rules, and procedures
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools
