Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Paralegal with a focus on Personal Injury law and proficiency in Spanish language. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience and will join our dynamic legal team to provide support in all aspects of case management and client communication.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other attorneys in Spanish and English.
- Maintain case files and organize documents for easy retrieval.
- Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and other third parties.
- Assist in trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and witness lists.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and billing clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in Personal Injury law.
- Proficiency in Spanish language, both written and verbal, is required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of legal research tools and software.
- Familiarity with court procedures and filing requirements.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
