Transactional Real Estate Attorney

Overview

We have partnered with our client, a well-established law firm, in their search for an experienced Interim Transactional Real Estate Attorney
. This role requires a seasoned practitioner with a strong background in sophisticated commercial real estate and corporate transactional matters. The ideal candidate is a New York-licensed attorney with deep experience providing business-focused counsel and handling a wide range of complex agreements and real estate transactions. The position is onsite preferred
, though hybrid arrangements may be considered for highly qualified candidates.

• Lead and support commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
• Manage entity formation, including drafting governing documents, corporate agreements, and organizational materials.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate general commercial agreements and transactional documents.
• Provide business counseling to clients on real estate, corporate, and operational matters.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements while maintaining a high standard of client service.

• Active Member in Good Standing of the New York Bar

• 6+ years of experience in transactional commercial real estate.
• Strong background in sophisticated real estate and corporate transactional work.
• Demonstrated experience with:
• Acquisitions & Dispositions
• Financings
• Entity Formation
• Governing Documents & Corporate Agreements
• General Commercial Agreements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in transactional real estate within a law firm or in-house legal department.
