Pinnacle Private Credit is hiring an experienced Senior Paralegal who specializes in Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) collections to support our growing private credit platform. We are a lean, fast-moving firm and are looking for someone who knows the MCA space well, can take ownership of files, and execute independently. This is not an entry-level role and not a generalist paralegal position.

The Role
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for managing MCA collections matters from default through recovery. You ll work closely with internal leadership and external counsel to move matters efficiently and strategically, with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate already understands MCA agreements, guarantor enforcement, confessions of judgment, UCCs, and post-judgment remedies, and can step in immediately.
Key Responsibilities- Manage MCA collections matters from default through resolution
- Prepare, review, and file collection-related documents (demands, COJs, motions, settlements, etc.)
- Coordinate with outside counsel, courts, sheriffs, and vendors
- Track and manage UCC filings, judgments, liens, levies, and enforcement actions
- Maintain organized, up-to-date records on active collection files
- Assist with recovery strategy, negotiations, and settlements
- Ensure compliance with applicable MCA regulations and state laws
- Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders
- 5+ years of paralegal experience, with significant hands-on MCA collections experience
- Deep familiarity with MCA agreements and personal guarantees
- Confessions of Judgment
- UCC filings and enforcement
- Judgment enforcement and post-judgment remedies
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
- Able to manage multiple active matters independently
- Strong communication and follow-through skills
- Background at an MCA fund, specialty finance firm, or MCA-focused law firm
- Experience handling New York MCA collections and enforcement
- Comfortable working directly with senior leadership
- Fully onsite in Midtown Manhattan (5 days/week preferred)
