Paralegal - Real Estate

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support a busy commercial real estate practice handling sophisticated finance transactions. This role offers exposure to high-level work, direct partner interaction, and long-term growth in a stable, professional environment.

Location: New York, NY (On-site)

Schedule: 5 days in-office for first 90 days; 4 days in-office thereafter

Hours: 35 hours/week, non-exempt (OT eligible)

Salary: $95,000-$110,000 + excellent benefits

• Coordinate and manage commercial real estate closings
• Prepare closing binders, signature pages, and post-closing documentation
• Maintain closing checklists and track deadlines
• Assist with acquisition financings, construction loans, mezzanine loans, and refinancings
• Support loan documentation (notes, mortgages/deeds of trust, guarantees)
• Conduct and coordinate title research and review
• Compile financial due diligence materials (rent rolls, operating statements, tax and insurance documents)
• Assist with closing statements and funding logistics
• Timekeeping and cross-team collaboration

• 3+ years of paralegal experience required
• 2+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience required (financial aspects preferred)
• Strong experience with closing binders and signature pages
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Professional, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple transactions
• Experience with iManage, iTimeKeep, or similar legal software preferred
