Duties:
- Represent borrowers and lenders in real estate finance transactions.
- Assist in the acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial real estate properties.
- Work on joint ventures and partnership structures related to real estate investments.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents and agreements.
- Provide legal advice on structuring real estate deals to maximize client outcomes.
- Collaborate with senior associates and partners on complex transactions.
- Conduct legal research and stay current on changes in real estate law and market trends.
Requirements:
- 6 years of experience in real estate finance, acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures.
- Prior experience working with borrowers and lenders in real estate finance is essential.
- Strong academic background from a prestigious law school.
- Experience at a top-tier law firm preferred.
- Ability to manage complex transactions and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and in teams.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active bar membership in the state where the office is located.
