Litigation Associate

Boutique and established labor and employment law firm with offices in New York City and New Canaan, CT seeks associate. Ideal candidate will have labor or employment law experience, excellent academic credentials, New York or Connecticut Bar Admission, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong time management and project management skills and a keen sense for client relations.

Pay:$80,000.00 - $ per year

Role Description

Responsibilities to run the full gamut of plaintiff side work from severance and executive compensation negotiations to agency level work to full-on trial representation. Work would also, uniquely, include defense work including defense of agency charges of discrimination and lawsuits and daily advice and counsel to small business clients regarding various employment and labor law issues and policies.

Position has meaningful growth potential and includes health care benefits, retirement

benefits, profit share plan and 2-3 weeks of paid vacation depending upon

experience.

Qualifications

• JD From An Accredited Law School
• Active Member Of The New York Bar or Connecticut Bar Required.
• 2-4+ Years of Relevant Experience
• Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
• Quality References
