Location: New York

Talent Consultants is looking for a skilled Labor and Employment Associate to join our legal team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about employment law and eager to work on a variety of legal matters affecting employees and employers alike. The Labor and Employment Associate will support clients in navigating complex labor laws, handling disputes, conducting investigations, and providing legal advice on employment policies and practices.

As a vital member of the team, you will work collaboratively with clients to address their legal concerns and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.

Responsibilities
  • Researching, analyzing, and preparing client-facing guidance on matters arising under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA)
  • Handling

    NLRB administrative and enforcement proceedings, including:
  • Representation petitions
  • Unfair labor practice (ULP) matters
  • Labor arbitration proceedings
  • Advising employers throughunion organizing efforts, including union campaigns and election oversight
  • Negotiating and draftingcollective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and counseling clients on contract administration and related labor strategy
  • Providing labor and employment support incorporate transactions, including diligence and deal-side labor considerations
Qualifications
  • 4–6 years of experience in traditional labor matters
  • Graduated class of 2019 - 2021 with proven GPA of 3.5+
  • Provenmanagement-siderepresentation experience in a law firm setting
  • Admitted to practice in

    California or New York
  • Juris Doctorate required
  • Top AMLAW 100 experience
