A leading international law firm is seeking an Immigration Paralegal to join a dynamic team that delivers tailored immigration solutions to a global clientele. With a collaborative and inclusive culture, the firm values initiative, precision, and a client-first mindset. This role is fully on site in Midtown Manhattan.
Who You Are
- An experienced immigration paralegal with a bachelor’s degree and at least two years in a law firm setting, supporting either family-based or business immigration matters
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Comfortable working independently and meeting tight deadlines
- Familiar with document management systems
- Track deadlines, manage calendars, and schedule meetings to keep cases on track
- Prepare and file immigration petitions
- Draft documents, collect supporting materials, and review submissions for accuracy
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and government agencies to ensure smooth case progression
- Flag case issues or delays to attorneys for timely resolution
- Provide administrative support including document organization, scanning, e-filing, billing, and engagement letter preparation
- Cases are filed accurately and on time, with minimal attorney revisions needed
- Clients and attorneys feel supported and informed throughout the process
- You proactively identify and resolve issues before they become roadblocks
- You consistently deliver high-quality work while managing multiple deadlines
