Our client is a well-established AMLAW 200 firm in a clear growth phase, currently expanding its Employment practice. The firm has a strong and consistent client base, solid financial footing, and a proven approach to integrating lateral hires, including senior lawyers and small teams.
This is a genuinely busy practice where lawyers are trusted with responsibility. High standards are expected, but there is real autonomy, visibility with clients, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the direction of the practice.
The RoleThe firm is seeking experienced Employment lawyers at Senior Associate, Counsel, or Partner level
. The practice includes:
- Employment litigation in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies
- Class and collective wage and hour matters
- Discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and whistle blower claims
- Restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and employee mobility issues
- Day-to-day counseling on compliance, investigations, leave and accommodation issues, and workforce management
At the senior end, the role offers scope to take on leadership responsibility, inherit and develop existing client relationships, and play an active role in shaping the future of the Employment group.
RequirementsThis opportunity will suit lawyers who:
- Have solid employment law experience (6+ years)
- Are comfortable running matters and working directly with clients
- Are thinking seriously about progression, whether to Counsel or Partner
- At Partner level, may have a portable practice or be in the process of building one
