Remote Employment Attorney (Full-Time or Reduced Schedule)
We’re recruiting an Employment Associate or Counsel (4 to 7+ years of experience) for a labor & employment boutique experiencing significant growth. One of their private equity clients requires L&E due diligence support for acquisitions ranging from $10M to $300M, followed by post-closing advice and counseling—a unique opportunity to stay involved with the work beyond the deal. The firm is headquartered in New York with a California presence and is open to fully remote attorneys across the U.S., with both full-time and part-time options available.
This is a substantive, career-track role for experienced employment lawyers who want sophisticated deal work and continued client involvement—whether their long-term goal is partnership, senior counsel, or a high-level specialist role.
THE ROLE:You’ll conduct employment-focused due diligence on corporate acquisitions valued between $10 million and $300 million. This includes reviewing and analyzing target company materials such as employment agreements, compensation structures, HR policies, and pending or potential employment litigation. Interestingly, you'll have the opportunity to counsel the client post acquisition, a rare opportunity to serve the client on both sides of the deal.
Required:
4+ years of relevant experience in a top ranked Am Law firm.
