Position: Legal Associate - Summer Hire
Program Eight-week program, starting May 2026 through July 2026
Open To: Rising third-year law students. Applicants must currently be a student at an accredited law school program and in the top 25% of their 1L/2L class.

Responsibilities- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist and provide support to attorneys on a variety of legal matters
- Research laws, regulations and cases
- Review and assist in drafting a variety of contracts, policies and other legal documents
- Participate in discussions with in-house and outside counsel
- Other legal support for the Legal Department as needed
- Effective performance of the essential functions of this position requires regular in-person, on-site interaction with colleagues, both for purposes of relationship building and meaningful collaboration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Multitasker with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Self-motivated, imaginative and versatile
- Computer proficiency
- Prior coursework in insurance law, technology law, employee benefits law, privacy law and/or coursework in contract law strongly preferred
- Applicants must currently be a student at an accredited law school program and in the top 25% of their 1L/2L class

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Currently, hybrid work environment, which requires working in CPG's office Tuesdays through Thursdays and flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Salary: $30.00 hourly
