Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Financial Law
Overview
We partner with law firms and regulated organizations seeking experienced regulatory counsel to support compliance-driven litigation, remediation programs, and large-scale regulatory initiatives. This role focuses on executing compliance work within law firm–led programs, supporting regulatory settlements, monitor ships, and enforcement-related remediation efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Support compliance litigation and regulatory remediation programs led by law firms
- Assist with execution of regulatory settlement obligations, monitor ships, and consent orders
- Analyze regulatory requirements and apply them to remediation and compliance initiatives
- Coordinate with law firm teams, in-house legal, compliance, and risk stakeholders
- Support document review, compliance testing, and issue remediation workflows
- Prepare compliance documentation, reports, and status updates for stakeholders
- Assist with responses to regulatory inquiries and enforcement-related requests
- Ensure compliance activities align with applicable regulatory standards and expectations
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active bar admission preferred
- 4–8+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, enforcement support, or compliance litigation
- Experience supporting law firm–led regulatory matters or large‑scale compliance programs
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks applicable to regulated industries
- Ability to work in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven compliance environments
- Strong analytical, writing, and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience in financial services, healthcare, insurance, or other regulated sectors preferred
- $160-$225/hour, depending on experience and market

Pay: $160.00 - $225.00
