Responsibilitiesand Practice
Dentons US LLP is seeking an associate to join our sophisticated Chambers-rated Capital Markets practice. Candidates should either be a recent law school graduate looking to begin their career in a dynamic, busy practice, or have 1-3 years of legal experience in structured finance, including experience with various aspects of residential mortgage backed securities, including securitizations, financings, repurchase agreements, opinion drafting, and drafting and negotiating other related agreements and documents.
The person hired for this position will be a part of a dedicated team and expected responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Representing issuers, underwriters and creditors and borrowers, including banks, finance companies, private equity funds, hedge funds, public companies and private companies in structured finance transactions
- Drafting and negotiating primary transaction documents and agreements
- Communicating with clients and transaction counter parties
- Working collaboratively to manage all aspects of our work
- Supporting the practice as needed

Dentons' US Capital Markets practice has been at the forefront of securitization/structured finance for more than three decades.
Pursuant with New York law, the salary for this position will be $225,000. Based on years of experience, Dentons associates may have a title of Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate.
