Debt Finance Associate

Our corporate practice offers a blend of comprehensive legal expertise and practical business counseling that enables our clients to clarify goals, find solutions, and achieve results across varied business transactions. Our corporate attorneys advise clients on a wide variety of issues affecting commercial, financial, and industrial enterprises, both publicly and privately owned.

We are seeking an associate with 4+ years of experience in the debt financing space. This individual should be comfortable with a variety of subject matters, including senior secured lending, mezzanine financing, acquisition financing, asset-based financing, venture debt financing, as well as intercreditor arrangements. Private equity sponsor experience from either the borrower or lender side is required.

Collaboration with team members is an important component of any role. Therefore, we encourage working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firms published guidelines.

• Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted or eligible for admission in New York
• Debt finance and private equity experience is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professionalism in working and engaging with demanding clients
• Ability to balance and prioritize competing priorities and responsibilities
• Ability to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings

The salary range for this position is $310,000 to $365,000. This position is bonus eligible. We offer a comprehensive benefits package.
