What’s the role?You will act as a key legal partner to marketing and product, driving change management in a fast‑growing, regulatory‑intense environment.
Day‑to‑day Responsibilities- Advise product, marketing, and creative teams on US consumer protection, privacy, and marketing regulations.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks in new product launches, advertising campaigns, influencer programs, and content campaigns.
- Negotiate general commercial agreements, including marketing and media contracts.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure product designs comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to US regulatory inquiries, investigations, and litigation related to product and compliance issues.
- JD, admitted to a state bar (NY or CA). Qualified to work in‑house in New York.
- 6+ years experience in a law firm or in‑house role focusing on consumer protection, marketing, product development, or US regulatory compliance for tech or e‑commerce companies.
- Experience with online marketplaces, social media platforms, or high‑growth technology businesses.
- Strong business, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Executive presence and ability to influence senior leadership.
- Willingness to work from the Brooklyn office up to twice a week.
