Location: New York

Paralegal–Plaintiff-Side Employment Law (Hybrid, NYC – Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Financial District, NYC (Hybrid – 4 days/week on-site)

Schedule: Full-time | Immediate Start (Monday or Tuesday)

Type: Temp-to-Hire

Compensation: $40+ per hour (temp) | $80k+ (direct hire)

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Employment Law Paralegal to join a well-regarded plaintiff-side employment law firm in Manhattan’s Financial District. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term placement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and legal correspondence
  • Organize and manage case files and document production
  • Coordinate filings in state and federal court (ECF/Pacer proficiency preferred)
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Assist attorneys with trial prep, hearings, and mediations
  • Conduct fact investigations and summarize key documents

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in plaintiff-side employment law
  • Strong understanding of litigation support and legal procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with a proactive, collaborative attitude
