About the Role:

The Business Immigration Attorney will play a critical role in providing expert legal counsel and representation to corporate clients and individual professionals navigating complex immigration laws related to business and employment. This position requires managing a diverse caseload involving visa applications, compliance issues, and immigration strategies that align with clients’ business objectives. The attorney will collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored immigration solutions that facilitate workforce mobility and regulatory compliance.

Additionally, the role involves staying current with evolving immigration policies and regulations to ensure accurate and effective legal advice. Ultimately, the Business Immigration Attorney will contribute to the growth and success of clients by enabling lawful and efficient international talent acquisition and retention.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state or territory.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing business immigration law.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and procedures related to employment-based visas.
  • Bilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish, to effectively serve a diverse client base.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with multinational corporations and diverse industries.
  • Familiarity with immigration compliance audits and government investigations.
  • Membership in professional organizations such as the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
  • Experience with immigration technology platforms and case management software.
Responsibilities:
  • Advise corporate clients and individual professionals on business immigration matters including visa eligibility, application processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and file immigration petitions and applications such as H‑1B, L‑1, O‑1, PERM labor certifications, and other employment‑based visas.
  • Conduct legal research and stay informed on changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures to provide up‑to‑date guidance.
  • Represent clients in communications with government agencies such as USCIS, Department of Labor, and consulates to resolve issues and expedite processing.
  • Develop and implement immigration strategies that support clients’ business goals while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate immigration‑related matters and provide comprehensive client service.
  • Maintain detailed case records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
