Our client is currently seeking a skilled Complex Claims Specialist who is proficient in handling claims in the Excess and Surplus line, equipped with substantial knowledge in Claims Adjustment and Litigation Experience.
** Role & Responsibilities
** The Complex Claims Specialist will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, pivotal in providing support to the Claims department by efficiently handling high-level claims issues.

Key responsibilities include:

* Investigating and assessing complex claims to determine valid excess and surplus lines liabilities.
* Engaging and collaborating with legal experts to manage claims involved in litigation.
* Adjusting claims by evaluating the insurance policy terms and assessing claim validity and value.
* Ensuring adherence to all regulatory and internal policy requirements throughout the claims process.
* Serving as a specialist to mentor and provide guidance to other claims adjusters on complex cases.
** Key Skills
** The ideal candidate will bring the following skills and capabilities to the role:
* Strong proficiency in handling Excess & Surplus claims with a sound understanding of insurance laws and contracts.
* Evidence of successful Claims Adjustment for complex cases.
* Direct experience in managing Litigation processes with the ability to engage effectively with legal counsel.
* Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
* Comprehensive understanding of United Banking Code regulations impacting claims adjustment.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.
