Job Description
Join AIG as a Claims Analyst III and lead the handling of multi‑line financial claims from inception to resolution, driving patient, accurate, and customer‑focused outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Make coverage determinations and investigate losses.
- Project potential exposures, set judgmental reserves, and develop resolution strategies.
- Manage outside law firms and collaborate with underwriting on policy renewals.
- Conduct coverage inquiry, legal liability assessment and quantum analysis for a portfolio of claims.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders as an Errors & Omissions claims expert.
- Provide feedback on claim exposures and trends to underwriting partners.
- Support Quality Assurance/Regional Audit processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience handling third‑party claims, litigation or related claims.
- Knowledge of legal / regulatory and procedural requirements for professional liability and/or construction claims.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; multi‑state adjuster licenses and/or JD preferred.
- Proficiency in negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and ADR on high‑value complex claims.
- Strong policy language interpretation skills.
- Track record of following up on recommendations from technical claims audits.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and direct claims strategy.
- Base salary: $82,000‑$103,000, plus bonus eligibility.
