Associate Underwriter - Commercial
Location – Carl Place, NY
Work Week Hybrid
Salary: $70-90,000 + Benefits
Our client, a 22 person Retail/Wholesale Broker requires 2 additional underwriters to service a book of mid-size commercial clients primarily consisting of Real Estate, Construction, retail, automotive hospitality, professionals and BOPs
Responsibilities
- Retain existing business and develop new business from existing clients
- Service existing book of commercial accounts
- Service new business policies, process renewals and endorsements, change requests, certificates of insurance, cancellations, online rating, etc.
Requirements
- License preferred not required
- Minimum 3 years commercial insurance experience rating and processing policies
- Able to receive and respond to customer's needs and develop solutions
- Well organized with ability to multi task in a busy environment
- Excel experience required
- Knowledge of Epic a plus
