Overview
The Architecture Senior Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who follows the latest trends in the field and adapts them for application within their job and the business. Requires excellent communication skills to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Responsible for significant direct business results or authoritative guidance regarding operations, with accountability for technical strategy and staff management issues including resource management and allocation within the team or project.
This is a senior level role. The individual should be able to support Data Architecture and Data Modeling and assist the team in data-related activities. Provides data architectural input for developing data models, databases, and reporting capabilities. Manages multiple projects, interacts with stakeholders and team members, and gathers requirements. Time allocation is typically 50% requirements gathering and 50% development work as needed, with the ability to delegate and communicate progress upwards.
Responsibilities- Provides architectural vision for IT systems, ensuring architecture conforms to enterprise blueprints.
- Develops architecture, strategy, planning, and problem-solving solutions at an enterprise level.
- Interfaces across channels as a visionary to help define direction for future projects.
- Maintains awareness of business, technical, and infrastructure issues and acts as a consultant to aid in creative solutions.
- May be accountable for end-to-end results depending on project scope, including budgeting, policy formulation, and future state technology strategies.
- Interfaces with vendors to assess their technology and guide product roadmaps based on Citi requirements.
- Demonstrates how their specialization contributes to the business and understands the commercial environment.
- Provides thought leadership on key business subjects and contributes to strategic decisions.
- Applies sophisticated analytical thinking to resolve complex issues.
- Influences the technology function through technical direction and strategic decisions.
- Uses developed communication skills to negotiate effectively, including at higher levels.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Assesses risk in business decisions with emphasis on safeguarding the firm, maintaining ethics, and escalating/control issues as needed.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to develop working relationships and manage multiple activities with changing priorities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-starter with initiative and ability to master new tasks quickly.
- Methodical with strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor
22s/University degree or equivalent experience;
Masters degree potential.
