Data Analytics Analyst, Licensing Operations

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a highly motivated Data Analytics Analyst to join its Licensing Operations team. This role involves collecting, validating, and analyzing data related to revenue‑sharing agreements with third‑party vendors, ensuring accuracy and delivering actionable insights through reports and dashboards.

• Data Collection & Processing: Gather, validate, and process large datasets related to revenue‑sharing transactions, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Reporting & Visualization: Prepare regular performance reports and develop dashboards using tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Revenue Share Analysis: Review agreements, calculate allocations, and report findings based on financial metrics.
• Collaboration: Work with internal teams (finance, sales, legal, vendor management) and external partners to align reporting with business objectives.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality checks to maintain integrity of reports and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices and suggest enhancements for reporting processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in fast‑paced environments.

• Experience in revenue share or financial data analysis.
• Understanding of legal contracts and key engagement terms.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and vendor relationship management.
