Senior Content Designer

We’re looking to contract a Senior Content Designer for our client's Payroll product suite. This role blends design leadership, strategic thinking, and user research skills to turn complex workflows into holistic, simple, and powerful experiences.

As a Senior Content Designer, you’ll be a design leader helping us define and deliver the future of client's product.

You will be:

• Primarily responsible for US Payroll and Admin product copy, secondarily responsible for other payroll suite product copy
• Turn evolving processes, policies, and system updates into content people can understand and act on
• Collaborate across cultures and time zones - partner with global teams in product, engineering, research, and operations, both remotely and in person.
• Create and maintain documentation and guidance used across internal tools (Figma, Lokalise, Asana, Notion)
• Organize content within Figma so it’s structured, easy to find, and ready for reuse and AI-supported workflows
• Create and update keys for UI text strings from Figma using Lokalise's plugin
• Join product and R&D sessions (kickoffs, working sessions, bug hunts) to support shared understanding and rollout
• Spot patterns where content is causing confusion or friction and propose practical improvements
• Own and evolve content standards, templates, glossary, and governance models
• Help shape sustainable, long-term approaches to content management and governance

• Have 4+ years in content design/UX writing experience in SaaS organizations
• Present a portfolio that demonstrates design leadership and end-to-end ownership of complex product areas
• High degree of competency with Figma and content management systems
• Passionate about people and building relationships
• Have exceptional interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication skills
• An enthusiastic, reliable, and independent self-starter with strong organizational skills

• Driven as an individual contributor, but love to collaborate as part of a team
• Nice to have an experience working with developer platforms like Git Hub and in AI tools like ChatGPT
