About Savvy Wealth
Wealth management is a $545 billion industry in the US, yet remains archaic and inefficient with low technology penetration. 75% of financial advisors don’t offer digital communication beyond email, and 62% still build financial plans manually in Excel. This leads to a poor client experience and results in financial advisors spending over 70% of their time on non-client facing, manual work.
Savvy is changing that. We’re building the most advisor‑centric platform in wealth management: a digital‑first solution that modernizes human financial advice. Advisors who partner with Savvy tap into AI‑powered software, automated sales and marketing, and seamless back office workflows to scale faster and spend more time with clients.
We’ve raised over $105M to date from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, Canvas Ventures, Mark Casady (former LPL Financial CEO), and other top‑tier investors. Our team is made up of repeat founders and operators who’ve helped build Airbnb, Square, Brex, Carta, Facebook, $200B+ RIAs, and more.
Savvy is at a pivotal point in its growth trajectory, having established strong product‑market fit in providing a modern platform to financial advisors. We’ve surpassed $5.1 billion in AUM in less than three years, grown 600%+ in the last 18 months, and are entering the next phase of the company which involves rapid expansion of our product offering and continued revenue growth.
Come help us scale!
As a Design Engineer, you'll sit at the intersection of design and engineering, operating at the platform level to push the boundaries of what's possible in our product. You'll be the person who takes a provocative design concept and proves it out in code — building functional prototypes that help the team see, feel, and pressure‑test the future of agentic wealth management before a single line of production code is written.
This isn't a traditional design or engineering role. You'll partner across product design, engineering, and product management to rapidly explore new interaction patterns — particularly those driven by AI and agentic workflows — and translate them into working prototypes that accelerate decision‑making and raise the bar for what we ship. You'll also play a central role in evolving our design system, ensuring it scales to support the novel patterns emerging from AI‑native product experiences.
You'll also own the design system at the code level, ensuring that what lives in Figma and what ships to users are one and the same. Beyond your own craft, you'll help uplevel the broader design team by introducing tools, workflows, and techniques that make AI‑powered prototyping and experimentation accessible to every designer s is a role for someone who believes the best way to imagine the future is to build it — and then ship it.
Responsibilities- Build and ship product
- Own front-end implementation for our most design-forward and technically nuanced features, particularly those involving AI-driven and agentic experiences.
- Partner with product designers and engineers to bring complex interaction models, system behaviors, and UI patterns to production with high craft and fidelity.
- Operate as the connective tissue between design and engineering — ensuring that what we envision is what users experience, with no fidelity lost in translation.
- Own the design system as code
- Build, maintain, and evolve Savvy's design system as a production‑grade component library that engineering ships with.
- Ensure the system scales to support emerging patterns for agentic workflows, dynamic content, and AI‑native interfaces.
- Identify where existing patterns break down under new product demands and design, build, and ship thoughtful solutions.
- Prototype the future
- Build high‑fidelity, functional prototypes that bring ambitious design concepts to life, especially for AI-driven and agentic product experiences.
- Partner with product designers to rapidly explore and validate new interaction models, system behaviors, and UI patterns before they enter the development pipeline.
- Use prototypes as a decision‑making tool, helping leadership and cross‑functional partners align around complex product directions…
