We are seeking two hands‑on Senior Systems & Infrastructure Administrators to manage and support a hybrid IT environment consisting of on‑premises VMware infrastructure and Microsoft Azure cloud services
.

This role serves as the primary escalation point for complex infrastructure and security issues
, supporting an enterprise environment with 60+ servers and 700+ endpoints
. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience across virtualization, identity management, endpoint management, security, backup platforms, and cloud optimization
.

• Administer VMware ESXi clusters and Azure‑hosted servers.
• Manage the server lifecycle
  , including migration from end‑of‑life operating systems.
• Support modernization initiatives by retiring legacy infrastructure and ESXi clusters
  .
• Conduct Azure cost analysis and optimization to improve cloud efficiency.

• Manage Active Directory and Entra  (Azure AD) environments.
• Implement and maintain Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign‑On (SSO), and Conditional Access policies
  .
• Administer enterprise security platforms such as RSA Secur
  
  ID, Sentinel One, and Rapid7
  .
• Perform security audits across Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments
  .
• Manage Intune MDM and SCCM environments
  .
• Lead a Windows 11 upgrade initiative across 700+ devices.
• Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex infrastructure and helpdesk issues.

• Administer Veeam, Azure Backup, and Azure Vault solutions
  .
• Perform backup audits and ensure disaster recovery readiness
  .
• Monitor infrastructure using Logic Monitor
  .
• Maintain documentation and support compliance reporting requirements
  .

• Manage IIS and Microsoft SQL Server environments
  .
• Support email security and mail flow platforms such as Mimecast
  .
• Troubleshoot SAN and enterprise storage systems
  .
• Support enterprise platforms including collaboration tools, enterprise applications, and printing environments
  .

• 7+ years of infrastructure or systems administration experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with:
• VMware (ESXi)
• Active Directory / Entra
• Intune and SCCM
• Backup and disaster recovery platforms
• Experience implementing MFA, SSO, and Conditional Access
• Power Shell scripting experience
• Experience supporting environments with 500+ endpoints
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

• Microsoft Azure or Microsoft 365 certifications
• VMware VCP certification
• Experience working in regulated environments such as healthcare, finance, or nonprofit sectors

This is a fully onsite role located in Brooklyn, New York
. The position works closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to support enterprise infrastructure and ensure reliable system operations.

The physical requirements for this office role include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, typically up to 8 hours a day, and regularly operate standard office equipment such as computers and phones. Employees should be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally and frequently perform tasks that require typing, writing, and document handling. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with adequate visual and auditory abilities to read materials and participate in meetings.
