Interim Revenue Accounting Optimization Analyst

Our client, a technology-enabled healthcare services company, is seeking a Revenue Accounting Optimization Analyst to support the modernization of their revenue accounting workflows. The position is fully remote. This engagement has an expected duration of 6 months.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate revenue data for monthly close and ongoing analysis.
• Build and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reporting for accounting and leadership stakeholders.
• Partner with data engineering teams to map data flows, identify gaps, and support automation of key revenue cycle processes.
• Perform detailed reconciliations to ensure alignment between operational systems and the general ledger.
• Document process flows and provide support for audit readiness across the revenue cycle.

• 5+ years of experience in operational accounting, audit, or revenue accounting roles, preferably within technology or healthcare.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience working in modern cloud data environments.
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Sigma) and ERP systems such as Net Suite.
• Strong understanding of revenue workflows and the ability to translate accounting needs into technical requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
