Job Title: Workday Business Systems Analyst
Location: New York City (Hybrid)
Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire
About the Role:Join the client as a Workday Business Systems Analyst, supporting the integration of procurement and financial modules. You’ll work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to validate requirements, coordinate downstream integrations, and ensure smooth system enhancements.
What You’ll Do:- Lead validation and integration efforts between Workday modules and financial systems.
- Collaborate with technical teams to perform system analysis and support data migration.
- Assist business users with issue tracking, resolution, and UAT using Smartsheet or similar tools.
- Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and workflow visualizations.
- Support production enhancements and provide ongoing system consultation.
- 6+ years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst in banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of General Ledger concepts.
- Hands‑on technical BA experience;
Workday project implementation experience is a plus. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with JIRA and Smartsheet is a bonus.
- Well‑versed in project management lifecycle and UAT processes.

Workday, Smartsheet, Excel, JIRA, GL knowledge, BRD/FRD, workflow visualization
