Location: New York

Location: Onsite – Midtown Manhattan, New York, NY

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8AM – 5PM

Participation in off-hours support and an on‑call rotation is required.

On Cue Hire is seeking a skilled IT Support Technician for a contract‑to‑hire opportunity supporting a fast‑paced, high‑performance professional environment in Midtown Manhattan. This role is ideal for a hands‑on IT professional with strong Level II Mac and PC troubleshooting experience who thrives under pressure and maintains meticulous technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Level II technical support for Mac and Windows systems in a high‑volume environment
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer (HP), and peripheral issues both onsite and remotely
  • Accurately document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within a ticketing system (e.g., Manage Engine or similar)
  • Install, configure, image, modify, and repair desktops, laptops, and related equipment
  • Diagnose issues using structured troubleshooting methodologies and diagnostic tools
  • Support and troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues
  • Set up and deploy workstations and user peripherals
  • Escalate complex issues to Tier II/III teams with comprehensive documentation
  • Monitor recurring issues and generate reports to support continuous improvement
  • Follow up with end users to confirm resolution and ensure high service standards
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands‑on IT support experience in a professional environment
  • Strong Level II troubleshooting skills across MacOS and Windows
  • Experience with enterprise ticketing systems
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN)
  • Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure setting
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
Compensation

Full‑Time Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000 annually (equivalent Pay Rate while on contract)

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This role is eligible for conversion to full‑time employment following the contract period.
