Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior UX Designer to support a customer experience track of work. This consultant needs to be local to Chennai to work in a hybrid working model 3 days a week. Candidates should have a background in consumer facing design organizations, understanding the intricacies of working with cross functional partners both locally and in the US. Being able to storyteller their design process and understand the Double Diamond design approach is important for this role.
On a day to day candidates will be delivering journey maps, concepts, end to end solutions and designing thinking for customer service and contact center tools/applications. Understanding or having a background in AI tools such as Notebook
LM, Gemini, Vids or similar tools will be helpful for this role as well. This role will be more user experience focused on the interaction between platforms and products rather then user interface focused, however having knowledge of visual design skills could be helpful. Candidates will be expected to do hands on User Experience delivery.

- 4+ years of experience with UX Design (practiced design principles and design process)
- Background at an enterprise company preferably telecom or customer facing domain
- Understanding and ability to perform design research methods
- Product mindset - customer facing applications both Mobile and Web
- System level design thinking; knowledge of interaction design or service design
- Ability to work cross functional with stakeholders both locally and in the US
- Hands-on Figma, Prototyping, UX Auditing, Design documentation, User journey maps
- Comfortable working independently and able to own tracks of work
- Great soft skills: storyteller/presenter, attitude to learn, grow, & curiosity Interaction Design or Service Design
- AI tooling experience
