Location: New York
Job Summary (Technical Project Manager – PMP/Scrum Certified)
- Lead and own end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements to production go-live.
- Provide daily delivery visibility, milestone execution, and proactive risk management, including escalation and recovery of at-risk initiatives.
- Operate in a hybrid Agile and Dev Ops environment, applying structured delivery practices and adapting Agile principles as needed.
- Build and manage integrated project schedules using Microsoft Project (MPP), tracking dependencies, milestones, and critical paths.
- Produce and distribute daily SDLC status reports covering milestones, risks, dependencies, next steps, and escalation needs.
- Partner with business, QA, development, Dev Ops, infrastructure, and vendor teams to ensure predictable, transparent, and on-time delivery.
- Identify stalled initiatives, implement recovery plans, and define escalation protocols for at-risk milestones or deliverables.
- Analyze and translate sprint/Dev Ops execution into executive-ready dashboards and reports; facilitate delivery sessions and leadership updates.
- Drive continuous improvement in SDLC, Dev Ops, and delivery reporting processes.
- Enforce SDLC and Dev Ops standards, ensuring delivery artifacts and tools are accurate and current.
- Communicate proactively, elevate issues early, and drive accountability among project stakeholders.
- Requires 10+ years of technology delivery and project management experience, with proven daily delivery reporting and executive communication skills.
- Must possess active PMP and Agile/Scrum certifications, strong technical background, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project (MPP).
- Experience in utilities or regulated environments is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or higher required.
- Success is measured by daily visibility into SDLC milestones, early risk identification and escalation, regaining project momentum, and building leadership trust in delivery status and release planning.
