- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in product research in an applied research setting, or similar.
- Experience in a user experience research role, applying quantitative methodologies, including advanced survey design/analysis and experimental design.
- Experience in programming languages used for data manipulation and computational statistics (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB, C++, Java, or Go).
- Master's degree or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams to define log schemas and data pipelines for product features.
- Experience presenting research findings to cross-functional teams (Product Management, Engineering, UX).
- Experience with SQL, R, or Python for analyzing datasets and user logs to complement primary research findings.
- Understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.
- Understanding of user research questions and technical tools to analyze data and measure products' user experience and interaction.

As a Quantitative UX Researcher for Legal and Procurement within Corporate Engineering, you will quantify the user experience of Google’s internal governance systems. You will support research for AI-driven innovation across Legal and Procurement workflows. In this role, you will be a key partner to Product and Engineering, focusing on the evaluation of the AI development life-cycle. You will implement experimentation frameworks and analyze "live sandboxes" to help the team iterate on AI-powered workflows.
You will drive multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to improve our quantitative insights, including instrumentation, metrics tracking, and data analysis.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
