Operations Analyst (Automation Focus) – NYC
Riva Recruiting is partnering with a leading buy-side platform in New York that is continuing to invest heavily in automation across its operations team. The firm is open to high-upside junior talent and is willing to teach the business and lifecycle to the right individual with strong technical curiosity.
Responsibilities- Support day-to-day trade and operational workflows across asset classes
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve manual processes
- Partner with operations, technology, and trading teams on workflow enhancements
- Assist with data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting tasks
- 0–3 years of experience in operations, middle office, data, or analytics roles
- Working knowledge of Python and/or Alteryx
- Strong interest in process automation and efficiency improvements
- Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree required (STEM, analytics, finance, or related preferred)
- Exposure to capital markets or trade lifecycle
- Experience with SQL or data tools
- Interest in digital assets or crypto markets
