Computer Systems Analyst – IBM Corporation

Location:

Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 80% telecommuting permitted).

• Serve as an SAP Basis Architect/Analyst building and supporting platforms, implementing SAP products, and establishing related policies and procedures for large‑scale customer deployments.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems and assist in the planning, designing, and architecting of SAP systems across a variety of platforms and databases.
• Work with public IaaS providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) and act as subject‑matter expert in SAP Infrastructure, focusing on SAP Basis, Security, Change Management, SAP Integration technologies, Memory Management, and Workload Management.
• Perform analysis of customers’ existing ERP setups and provide SAP solution recommendations and consulting services.
• Conduct system sizing, OS/DB migrations using DMO, traditional on‑premise migrations, on‑premise to cloud migrations, and SAP S/4
  
  HANA conversions.
• Install and configure Gateway/Fiori, Web Dispatcher, and SAP Cloud Connector, and oversee maintenance of SAP system integration within an SAP landscape.
• Install support packs, perform upgrades, execute backups/recovery, conduct system refreshes, and troubleshoot issues.
• Set up high‑availability failover for production systems and monitor and tune SAP system performance.
• Act independently as a Service Integrator to gain insight and develop solutions that meet client business needs.
• Design, develop, and deploy applications on SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), including integration with other SAP and non‑SAP systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement end‑to‑end BTP solutions and recommend best practices.
• Gather requirements, design, configure, and implement SAP Cloud ALM solutions; develop and implement best practices and provide training and support.
• Utilize SAP System Upgrades and Migrations, SAP System Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting, SAP Fiori System Administration, SAP Transport Management System (TMS), SAP Solution Manager (Sol Man), SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP HANA Database Administration.

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related field (employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree).
• At least one (1) year of experience as an SAP Basis Architect or related role.
• One (1) year of experience that includes utilizing SAP System Upgrades and Migrations, SAP System Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting, SAP Fiori System Administration, SAP Transport Management System (TMS), SAP Solution Manager (Sol Man), SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP HANA Database Administration.

Salary: $178,017 to $200,000 per year.
