Our client is looking for Senior Oracle Data Modeler with extensive finance/banking domain experience.
Require 12+ years of experience.
- Understand and translate Business Requirements to Conceptual and Logical Data Models.
- Create and update Physical Data Models (ERDs), of different types, from Logical Data Models using best practices and according to company standards
- Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies and build data flows
- Recognize the need for a specific relational design – OLTP, OLAP, Data Warehouse – from a set of requirements and/or from a Logical Data Model.
- Participate in mapping of Logical to Physical Data Models and vice versa.
- Perform data model reviews with Data Modeling counterparts and BI team members.
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Toad, PLSQL Developer or other common data analysis, exploration, migration, and reporting tools.
- Experience with modeling tools like Power Designer/ERWIN
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle including strong SQL knowledge
- Experience in analyzing and documenting data mapping and transformation rules
- Experience writing complex views / materialized views, SQL queries and triggers
