Job Title - Technical Project Manager Location - NYC (Onsite Monday–Thursday, Remote Friday; commute within 1 hour 15 minutes) Role Type - Direct Hire Must Have

Skills:
  • Proven experience leading software/application development projects in Agile or hybrid environments
  • Strong background in software development (prior hands‑on experience preferred) with the ability to engage in architectural and technical discussions
  • Experience partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to translate requirements into executable delivery plans
  • Ability to manage sprint planning, backlog coordination, cross‑functional dependencies, and release cycles
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to drive alignment, manage scope, and hold development teams accountable to timelines and deliverables
Responsibilities and Job Details:
  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of software and application development initiatives in an Agile or hybrid environment
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to define scope, priorities, and actionable project plans
  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to ensure consistent velocity and delivery
  • Manage cross‑functional dependencies and proactively mitigate risks impacting timelines or scope
  • Drive release planning and coordinate production deployments across teams
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical execution plans in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and KPIs, ensuring transparency across stakeholders
  • Communicate project status, risks, and changes to leadership and cross‑functional partners
  • Foster strong collaboration with IT teams and other internal departments
  • Promote accountability, ownership, and high standards of delivery within development teams
  • Support a collaborative team culture with an emphasis on reliability, punctuality, and autonomy
  • Participate in regular stakeholder and leadership meetings to ensure alignment and continuous improvement
