Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to design, build, and lead cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure that are secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. This role is responsible for defining cloud architecture standards, guiding engineering teams, and driving cloud adoption and modernization initiatives across the organization.
Salary165k to 200k + bonus
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and architect enterprise-grade solutions on Microsoft Azure, including compute, networking, storage, security, and identity services.
Lead cloud migration and modernization efforts, including re-platforming, refactoring, and cloud-native application design.
Define Azure architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks (security, cost management, compliance).
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and Dev Ops teams to translate business requirements into technical cloud solutions.
Architect high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability strategies using Azure-native services.
Guide implementation of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform), and automation practices.
Review and approve solution designs, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and Azure Well‑Architected Framework.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineers and development teams.
Support cloud cost optimization, monitoring, logging, and performance tuning initiatives.
Stay current with Azure services, features, and emerging cloud technologies.
Strong hands‑on experience architecting solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Deep knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS, Azure SQL, Storage, Networking, and Azure Active Directory.
Experience with cloud security, identity, and access management, including Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault, and network security controls.
Proven experience with hybrid cloud and on‑prem‑to‑Azure integrations.
Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
Strong understanding of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Experience leading architecture decisions and cross‑functional technical initiatives.
Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ‑305) or equivalent.
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes / AKS).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Experience in regulated or enterprise‑scale environments.
