Alternative Investment Management Firm – Experienced Dev Ops Engineer

I’m partnering with a leading alternative asset management firm seeking to hire an experienced Dev Ops Engineer. They offer a highly competitive compensation package designed to attract and retain top engineering talent.

This is a senior, hands‑on role on the core platform team. You’ll design, build, and operate AWS‑based cloud infrastructure, own and evolve the Kubernetes (EKS) environment, and shape Terraform and Infrastructure as Code standards across the organization. You’ll improve CI/CD pipelines to enable safe, efficient deployments and embed strong SRE practices including observability, SLO/SLI design, incident response, and overall production readiness.

You’ll partner directly with engineering teams to ensure systems are secure, scalable, resilient, and easy to operate in production.

• Strong hands‑on AWS experience (IAM, VPC, EC2, EKS, S3, Cloud Watch, KMS)
• Deep Kubernetes expertise, preferably operating EKS in production
• Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, ArgoCD, Git Lab CI, or similar)
• Observability experience (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK/Open Search, Open Telemetry)
• Strong understanding of SRE practices including SLOs, SLIs, and incident management
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or similar scripting language
